Lovin' the beautiful sunshine at Calder Sunday funday today, great to see so many out racing.
Paid off for those that took the chance on Mother Nature, loads of passes. Connor had 23 passes for his 2nd time out at the track on his Honda fire storm pb ing at 11.28 @ 130 mph. Tony pushing for a 10.4 in his mate, Tony's SS causing a axel to break. After changing it in the pits the two Tony's managed a 10.9. Lucky they had a spare in the boot. Beau doing his thing after winning his football game by a point last night against Brisbane ran a best of 11.40 in his VF R8 . Was looking more confinement after doing at least 12 runs. Scott Taylor hooking with another pb 10.31 on his third run for the day. Smiles all around with the Dontex Performance crew when Adam Bird ran a 9.92 @ 139mph. It was the heaviest car and also the fastest for the day. Not a bad effort, considering they drove the RAM TRX out to the track for some data after fresh build. Congratulations

Bright Design has also proudly supplied action shot images from the latest Street Machine Drag Challenge, held in November 19. It is the tuffest test for street cars in the country. This event went from Calder Park in Melbourne, a check point at Swan Hill, onto Sunraysia Drag Racing Association in Mildura to South Coast Raceway in Portland and back to Calder Park. This years five day street car challenge saw some of the quickest racing in the events history.
